I can't sleep
With each new night you become old and frail.With each new night you grow weak and tired.
With each new night you know sleep must come.
With each new night sleep does come.
But what is sleep but death in temporary form.
But what is sleep but a chance to be reborn.
What happens to the you from yesterday when it becomes the you of today.
With each new morning comes new hopes and new dreams.
With each new morning comes new desires and new needs.
With each new morning you become more than you where yet less than you where.
With each new morning what things lay forgotten and what things remain remembered.
And how many new mornings before who you where wouldn't know who you are.

The Puppy From Heaven
Since the day I first held you, close to my heart, I felt the light above, I saw you drift to Heaven.I felt the tingeling inside, as I saw you sleep, I heard the angels praying over you.
As you smiled happily as they greeted you to lie above, I saw you gently and slowly open your eyes, as the angels went back up to Heaven.
