The Language of Love

Love speaks to us in so many ways I know
Gentleness and warmth spreading high and low
Shining in dark places as well as the light
Creating shadows of peace within our sight

All is calm amidst the many storms and fear
When real love is felt then our Father is near
Guiding and teaching His children so well
Onwards and upwards each a story to tell

Of broken promises we made to each other
To love protect and respect one another
The hope that fades when relationships die
Leaving pain filled hearts and the child to cry

Love is such a beautiful though fragile gift
Easily hurt and sensitive yet strong enough to lift
The problems and challenges that each must face
To bring joy and happiness to the human race

Each child has a place and a part to play
To soothe troubled lives which darkens the day
Using the love in our hearts to forgive and to bless
When families break down and all seems a mess

The beautiful smile that finds its way from sorrow
Feels so special and real that maybe tomorrow
Things will brighten magically if real love is applied
Along with the hope and trust that we all need inside

Heaven

Freedom of spirit freedom of choice
Life is an adventure with a beautiful voice
Take time to listen with an open heart
To the dreams of love which we are a part

Have courage to build with loving hands
A future of peace in God's glorious lands
It is ours for the making if we only learn
Love and forgiveness to everyone in turn

Hold onto faith that God loves us all
Not just the good ones mighty and tall
See in yourself the brother by your side
Shine in the light don't run and hide

Help one another and you will feel
The love of God and His Divine Will
A blessed heaven created here on earth
Built by His children with heavenly mirth

Come take my hand and with me walk
Together into our future with happy talk
Of a life worth living with peace and care
Accept one another go on I bid you dare

God has promised us peace on earth
A second coming a beautiful holy birth
You are that child so precious and dear
Look can you feel heaven I believe it is near
